What does Bepanthen do?
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel helps improve the appearance of scars in three ways:
- Silicone forms a coating that covers the scar, prevents newly formed skin from drying out, and maintains the skin's moisture balance.
- Moisturizers such as panthenol help retain water in the skin.
- The massage ball helps to break down collagen fibers in old scars.
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel works in the same way for old scars by providing sufficient hydration to reduce inflammation and collagen formation.
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel is also suitable for treating old scars. In this case, the effect of Bepanthen Gel can be enhanced.
- Anti-scar using a massage device. The massage device included with Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel breaks down collagen fibers in scar tissue. Daily massage improves the scar structure in the long term, meaning that scars become flatter, redness decreases, and the scar becomes less prominent. In addition, itching disappears, and the sensation of tightness during movement decreases, thanks to increased elasticity of the scar tissue.

How is Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel used?
If the wound has healed in less than a month.
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel should not be used until the wound has completely healed. Use the anti-scar gel only as follows:
- Take a sufficient amount of Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel (according to the size of the scar) and apply it with your finger to the scar to form a thin film.
- Leave the gel to dry for several minutes (i.e., before covering it with clothes).
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel may leave a stain on clothing if it does not dry completely on the skin.
- Apply Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel twice daily (for example, morning and evening).
- Reapply the gel after showering or doing strenuous exercise.
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel should be used for at least two months.
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel is suitable for adults and children.
If the wound has healed for more than a month
- Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel is available with a massage ball.
- The massage ball should only be used on scars that have formed if the wound has been healed for more than a month.
- If the wound has been healed for more than a month, use a massage ball before applying Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel.
Anti-scar gel for wounds that have healed for more than a month
- Gently massage the scar using a massage ball (with light pressure only) several times, then apply Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel with your finger to form a thin film over the scar. This helps to break down the collagen fibers.
When should Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel not be used? ®
- Do not use on open wounds and mucous membranes.
- Do not use near the eyes.
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- For external use only.

- Stop use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if any skin reactions or symptoms occur. If necessary, consult a medical professional.
- If the product comes into contact with the eyes, open wounds, or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with water.

What should you know before using a massage ball?
- Do not use a massage ball on wounds that have healed less than a month ago because the newly formed skin is very thin and there is a risk of making the wound prone to reopening.
- Discontinue use if it causes discomfort or pain.
- The massage ball can be cleaned by wiping it thoroughly with a dry or damp cloth. Do not immerse the ball directly under water.
- Please do not detach the massage ball.
What are the possible side effects of Bepanthen Anti-Scar Gel and Massage Ball?
- There are no expected side effects if this product is used as directed, however, as with any skin products, hypersensitivity reactions may occur in some individual cases.
